Olga Victor comes to Emma Bowen with 30+ years of experience in community mental health. An MSW graduate of Fordham University with a focus on clinical social work. Mental health is a journey where she has advocated for vulnerable families in NYC.
Under Bill DeBlasio’s mayorship, Olga worked in the Thrive NYC – Mental Health Service Corp. initiative which hired 250 clinicians (psychiatrist, psychologists and social workers) and deployed them to vulnerable communities with the intent of establishing collaborative care in primary care settings.
Since the pandemic of 2019 Olga has had a part time private practice where she treats women with depression and anxiety diagnosis.
Olga is a board member of the Latino social work and coalition scholarship Fund. which provides minority MSW students with merit scholarships and mentorship program.
