Lawrence Fowler
Deputy Director
With over twenty-five years of experience in administration, Deputy Director Lawrence Fowler has served the Emma L. Bowen Community Services Center since 2001. In this capacity, Lawrence oversees all operations, including building services, facilities management, human resources, information technology and registration services, as well as the Center’s utilization of legal services. Mr. Fowler is the primary contact for labor representatives other than staff union delegates and handles negotiations and labor relations. Prior to his current role, Mr. Fowler served as the Center’s Director of Human Resources. For the past 20-plus years, he has been an active member of the Administrative Cabinet of the Executive Director. Mr. Fowler has volunteered his services to the community, including recently serving as president of his co-op’s Board of Directors.
