The Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center Chemical Dependence Program provides a holistic approach to treatment, offering individual, group and family counseling.
Groups focus on anger management, motivation, relapse prevention, women’s issues, men’s issues and recovery life skills.
Our highly-trained and dedicated staff helps individuals develop positive coping skills, recognize reasons for relapse, decrease self-destructive and at risk behaviors, build self-esteem and improve family relationships. We also offer psychiatric evaluations and medication management. DWI assessments are available, as are referrals for vocational/educational training, nutritional guidance and housing assistance.
Aftercare treatment is also available.
