Addiction Treatment Services

The Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center’s Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) program provides comprehensive, holistic, and person-centered substance use treatment. Services address the clinical, emotional, social, and environmental factors that influence recovery and include individual, group, and family counseling, along with peer support services that promote connection, accountability, and sustained recovery.
Group services are structured to meet individuals at varying stages of change and address a wide range of treatment needs, including relapse prevention, recovery support, anger management, parenting skills, domestic violence and batterer intervention, trauma, grief and loss, and medication-supported recovery. These groups offer safe, supportive environments that foster self-reflection, skill development, and consistent engagement in treatment.
A multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with participants to strengthen coping strategies, identify triggers and underlying contributors to relapse, reduce high-risk behaviors, build self-esteem, and improve family and interpersonal relationships. Integrated care is further supported through on-site psychiatric evaluations and medication management as part of a coordinated treatment approach.
In addition, Addiction Treatment Services provides DWI assessments and linkages to essential supportive services, including vocational and educational training, nutritional guidance, and housing assistance. Aftercare services are available to help individuals maintain progress, reinforce recovery skills, and sustain long-term stability beyond the initial phase of treatment.
Treatment services available Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
