Bowen Center's food pantry in action

Food Pantry

The Bowen Center’s Food Pantry program provides emergency food relief for individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties and are in need of food.

Pantry bags are packaged according to the National Food Guide Pyramid and include fruit, vegetables, grains, dairy and protein. The food is provided by the Food Bank for NYC, United Way of NYC and Emergency Food and Shelter program (EFSP).

Our Food Pantry program serves over 80,400 packages of food annually.

Hours of operation: Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00am – 2:00pm.

Community members in crisis can also access the Food Pantry Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.
