How to Get There
The New Bowen Center building is located on West 135th Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway.
By Subway
- 1 → 137th St–City College, walk south to 520 W 135th Street
- A/C→ 125th St, transfer to M100 bus and take to 135th St (3 stops) → walk west 1 block
- B/D → 125th St, transfer to M100 bus and take to 135th St (3 stops) → walk west 1 block
By Bus:
M100 and M101 Bus Stops
- Closest stop: Amsterdam Avenue & West 135th Street
- Walk west along 135th Street for about 2 minutes (approximately 1 block) to reach 520 West 135th Street.
M11 Bus Stop
- Closest stop: Amsterdam Avenue & West 135th Street
- Walk west along 135th Street for about 2 minutes (approximately 1 block) to reach 520 West 135th Street.
Parking Information:
Limited street parking is available.
Temporary Shuttle Service
To support clients during the relocation transition, Bowen will provide a temporary shuttle service between 1727 Amsterdam Avenue and 520 West 135th Street.
Specific shuttle details will be shared directly by individual programs.
Please Note: The shuttle is a temporary support service for clients who have scheduled appointments requiring travel between both locations during the relocation period. It is not intended for general transportation to the new site from 1727 Amsterdam Avenue.

The Food Pantry will open for distribution at our new temporary home—520 West 135th Street on Tuesday, March 3rd.
We’re working hard diligently to avoid any interruptions with all client appointment times. Clients will be notified directly if any appointment times will be affected. However, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your program, clinician, and/or therapist directly to address your concerns.
