Food Pantry
The Bowen Center’s Food Pantry provides vital, reliable food support for individuals and families facing financial hardship, helping to reduce food insecurity and promote overall health and stability. Each pantry bag is thoughtfully assembled to meet nutritional standards, including fresh produce, grains, dairy, and protein, ensuring families have access to balanced, wholesome meals.
Powered through strong partnerships with the Food Bank for NYC, United Way of NYC, and the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), the program distributes over 100,000 pantry packages annually, serving as a critical lifeline for communities across Harlem and the five boroughs.
Hours of operation: Tuesday – Thursday: 11:00am – 2:00pm.
Community members in crisis can also access the Food Pantry Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.
