2025 Community Health Fair!

We’re excited to announce the return of one of Harlem’s most beloved summer traditions—the Emma L. Bowen Community Health Fair—taking place on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Bowen Center’s Plaza at 1727 Amsterdam Avenue (at 145th Street).

This year’s theme, “One Community, One Goal: Health, Wellness & Education,” reflects our deep belief in the power of collective action and shared responsibility. For more than 30 years, the Bowen Center has been proud to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health and addiction treatment services to Harlem residents. Our annual Health Fair brings that mission to life—connecting community members of all ages with vital resources that promote healthier, more empowered lives.

What to Expect:

  • Free health screenings
  • Giveaways and raffles
  • Live music and entertainment
  • Information from local healthcare providers, service organizations, and community groups
  • Fun activities for kids and families
  • Back-to-school supply giveaways

The event is free and open to the public, and we encourage neighbors, families, and friends to stop by, learn something new, and connect with the services that are here to support them.

Whether you’re a longtime Harlem resident or new to the neighborhood, the Community Health Fair is a perfect opportunity to celebrate community, access critical resources, and help our young people start the school year strong and supported.

We are grateful to the many partners, like Ryan Health, sponsors, and volunteers who help make this day possible, and we look forward to seeing you there!
