Our new website was designed with the goal of helping visitors find information on the various programs and services offered by the Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center.

Manhattan Borough President “RECEPTION FOR WOMEN JOURNALISTS”

On Friday April 7, 2017, Bowen Center chairperson Patricia Jordan joined Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer for a reception honoring women journalists and NYC political trailblazers. The event featured a tremendous exhibit of political memorabilia including photographs, political posters and buttons from the likes of Shirley Chisholm, Bella Abzug and Hillary Clinton.
