Nadine Arias has twenty years of experience as a social worker, providing direct service to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders; creating an environment of compassion and support to help overcome barriers to move forward and thrive. Ms. Arias worked for the Center for Community Services as an intake specialist, assessing potential candidates for supportive housing for over ten years and as a medical social worker at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital prior to joining Emma L. Bowen Service Center in 2012. Nadine received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services in 2003. She believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, productive lives.
