The Emma L. Bowen Center's Rainbow Clubhouse is a rehabilitation program for adults with serious and persistent mental illness who wish to improve the quality of their lives through meaningful work and gainful employment.

Our clubhouse provides a safe and supportive opportunity for members to take part in vocational training and services that can lead to transitional and supported employment. The goal of Rainbow Clubhouse is to help patients develop skills they can use to secure employment and move towards self-sufficiency. Services build on patients’ strengths to allow them to gain or improve skills needed to reach individual goals. Work is combined with services, including supported education, evidence-based health and wellness offerings, crisis prevention planning, co-occurring disorder groups, smoking cessation classes and housing assistance counseling. Upon completion of each work-ordered day, the Rainbow Clubhouse offers daily recreational activities and is also open on Saturdays for recreation and community trips.
